The Chicago Bulls are ranked 25th in the latest Locked On NBA Power Rankings — and honestly, can we disagree?
After a 1-3 start to the 2026-27 NBA season, the Bulls have already suffered two embarrassing losses: a 43-point defeat against the Toronto Raptors and a 35-point defeat against the Boston Celtics.
On today's Locked On Bulls Hits, we're discussing why Chicago has earned its low ranking, what needs to improve under Tiago Splitter, and why the NBA's NEW Draft Lottery rules could change the way Bulls fans approach the rebuild.

🏀 How the NBA's new 3-2-1 Draft Lottery works
🏀 Why finishing dead last no longer provides the best odds for the No. 1 overall pick
🏀 Why player development and competitive basketball should be Chicago's priorities
The NBA's new lottery system begins with the 2027 NBA Draft. The three teams with the worst records will have reduced odds of winning the No. 1 pick compared with other non-play-in teams.
I'm not expecting this Bulls team to contend for a championship. But I do expect improvement, effort, and a team that learns how to win.
Do YOU think 25th is a fair ranking for Chicago?
And would you rather see the Bulls win more games or prioritize getting another high draft pick?
